Oh Eddie's Thanksgiving Turkey

Thanksgiving turkey glazed with Oh Eddie's Whiskey Bourbon Sauce

Ingredients

1 Turkey (any weight)

2 Cups Pineapple Juice

3/4 Pound Butter

1 Cup Brown Sugar

1 Tbsp Garlic Powder

1 Tbsp Onion Powder

1 Tbsp Lowry's Season Salt

1 Tbsp Black Pepper

1 Tbsp Dried Thyme & Rosemary

2 Oranges (1 sliced and 1 for zesting)

1 16oz jar of Oh Eddie's Sauce

Directions

Mix all ingredients EXCEPT pineapple juice and Oh Eddie's Sauce.

Take half of the butter mixture and spread under the turkey skin along with the orange slices.

Use the other half of the mixture over the turkey's skin.

Stuff the cavity with leftover orange wedges from the zested orange.

Put turkey in an oven bag with 2 cups of pineapple juice.

Put the turkey in a turkey pan and cover.

Cook at 225 degrees until internal temp reaches 160 degrees or higher.

Finish by brushing the turkey with the jar of Oh Eddie's sauce.
